We GATHER to celebrate what God is doing. We seek opportunities to GROW in our faith. We GO beyond the walls of our church to come alongside God where He is working in our world.
As a part of the Church of the Nazarene, New Life shares a message of hope, forgiveness, and the power to overcome the habits and sins that destroy and debilitate our lives. Our focus is on sharing the good news that we all need and can have a relationship with God. We want to see everyone discover their full potential in Christ. Each week we meet to worship together, study the Bible, and share stories of how God meets our needs and helps us through the challenges of life. Together we learn how we can live a life that makes a difference. The messages are relevant, the worship is exciting, the people are friendly, and the atmosphere is casual. If you’ve never been to church or if you’ve attended all your life, you’ll find New Life to be a refreshing worship experience.
Jesus reached out to people of all ages and all backgrounds in all kinds of communities. We desire to do the same. That’s why you’ll discover ministries geared to various life stages and needs. You’ll find an awesome ministry to children and youth, as well as, a group of adults who understand the importance of building relationships.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll be greeted with warm smiles and happy faces by people just like you who understand how hard it is to walk into a new church for the first time.
There is no dress code at New Life. You’ll find people in all kinds of casual wear. We’re more concerned about your needs than with what you are wearing.
Our music is much like what you’d hear on contemporary Christian radio. At all of our worship services you’ll find the freedom to be yourself as we worship.
Our pastors try to communicate what the Bible says in a relevant, practical way that challenges and helps every person who hears the message to live out God’s plan for their life. Yes, a safe and fun environment. We provide childcare with a paid nursery worker for babies through the age of two. We have classrooms that meet the needs of children from Toddler (Ages 2-3), Pre-K (ages 4-Kindergarten) and Elementary (First Grade through Sixth Grade). Kids experience God’s love and biblical truths with lessons and worship just for them! Teachers are ready to meet your kids in class starting at 9:30a. MEET OUR TEAM
Jim Chapman is the Lead Pastor of New Life Church. As graduate of St. Louis Christian College, he has been in ministry for over 20 years. A portion of that being his own speaking ministry. Jim and his lovely wife, Jennifer, have two boys, Tyler and Hunter. He is a fan of the Cardinals, Quiktrip, and running.
He is humbled by the opportunity to minister to the New Life family.
Brian Fields is the Associate Pastor of New Life Church. Brian has been married to his lovely and supportive wife Liz since 2010, and they have attended New Life since moving to Missouri in 2014. He enjoys many hobbies, but spends most of his time working on one of his old, rusty Fords. An alumni of Kentucky Christian University, Brian brings a passion for Biblical education and helping people learn about the how-to’s of being a follower of Christ.
Carol Rough is the Director of Guest Services at New Life Church. She & her husband Brett, have been a part of NLC for 10 years. They have been married for 30 years & have four beautiful daughters, Lauren, Allison (Brad), Bailey & McKenzie. Carol is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan & also enjoys watching movies, reading & gardening.
Michael Bishop is the Worship Leader at New Life Church. He and his wonderful wife, Taylor, have been faithfully attending New Life since 2016. A graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, Michael, has found leading worship to be a perfect combination of his lifelong interest in music and passion for connecting others with the God who loves them.
Sarah Kraus is the Administrative Assistant for New Life Church. She and her husband, Eric, have three incredible kids Maddie, Grogan, and Evie. In her free time she likes to cook, exercise, watch movies and attend her children’s sporting events. Sarah is excited to be apart of the New Life Church Family.
